8/28/2019 Asus Usb 31 Boost Download
Sep 18, 2017 - USB 3.1 Boost technology supports UASP (USB Attached SCSI Protocol) and it automatically speeds up transfer rates of your USB storage. I have the model of the Z97-A without USB 3.1 ports. Direct me to somewhere that I can download ASUS USB 3.0 Boost for Windows 10?
Hey guys I've been watching this site/forum for a while and got much help out of it. So I built my new PC after many years of console monopoly and I have this question thats been bothering me. I've searched around the net but haven't found anything to help me understand what do I have to do. I want the best out of my USB 3.0. I am planning on getting a Samsung external SSD T1 and read that to max out speeds my mobo must support USB3.0 with UASP so I did a reasearch for my mobo and saw that it does support UASP but I have to enable/install USB 3.0 boost software.. :S I have seen that on ASUS downloads but I would really appreciate some info about the matter. Thank you and below is my brand new rig.

Well, as the name tells, the ASUS USB 3.0 Boost Storage Driver is an USB 3.0 driver, so, of course, it will only affect USB 3.0 devices, and not USB 2.0 ones. I also think that it only affects USB 3.0 that also support the UAS protocol (which not all USB 3.0 devices do).
How to download game saves for the handsome collection. So, yeah, that will explain why some devices, that don't try to rely on the driver for anything, will work just fine, and the ones that do, won't.
By the way, did Ctrl-Alt-F work?

Oh, and with regards to UAS, you can check the Wikipedia entry. Or you can look at ASUS' page for Boost Storage (being mindful that this is a promotional page by the manufacturer, so not entirely objective about advantages and drawbacks).

UAS can apply to USB 2.0 devices as well, and I'm pretty sure that your device is UAS, which means it will be accessed through the ASUS driver and not the native USB 2.0 stack from Windows.
At any rate, from what I see in the debug log, I can guarantee that your device is not being accessed by the native Windows USB stack, and, again, I would encourage you to uninstall the ASUS driver if you don't want that to happen.
